The Role

As Finance Director, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring robust financial governance, and supporting sustainable growth across all areas of the business. You will lead a high-performing finance team and work closely with commercial, operational, and digital teams to deliver strategic insights and financial clarity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

Provide strategic financial input to support business decisions and growth initiatives

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and investors

Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting, and analytics

Partner with the CEO and senior leaders to shape company strategy

Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

Requirements
What We’re Looking For

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience

Proven track record in a senior finance role, ideally within distribution, e-commerce, or retail

Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Experience with digital platforms and data-driven decision-making

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
