Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience, up to £50k

Shift Patterns: 07:30 - 16:00 Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 12:00 Friday

Oliver Rae is working with a well-known Metal Pressings and Assemblies manufacturer based in the Wolverhampton area. They are seeking a hands-on Production Manager who has experience in the Metals industry.

Our client plays a pivotal role in serving the Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial industries.

The goal of this role is to ensure that operations are carried out productively to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

Brief Description of Job Duties

Manage a team of 50.
Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company's vision.
Ensuring employees are engaged in various challenging tasks.
Fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
Organise workflow across various presses including progression and coil fed press machines.
Receive complaints and resolve problems.
Liaising with the production planning department.
Creating job plans for the shop floor.
Prioritising workload.
Motivating, encouraging, and guiding employees.
Reporting to the senior management team.
Ensuring KPI's are being met.
Daily meetings.
Appraisals.
Health and safety checks.
Advising on work in progress.Requirements:

At least 5 years in a production supervisory role.
5's knowledge.
LEAN manufacturing experience.
Health and safety knowledge.
Press shop experience is required for this role.
Excellent communication skills are paramount to effectively convey the goals, expectations, and changes that will be necessary to the team. Benefits:
