We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant specialising in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, and learning difficulties.
The role involves providing tailored, one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils engage in learning, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes in a structured and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEN in the classroom and during structured activities

Deliver targeted interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
*
Promote emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and engagement in learning
*
Support personal care and wellbeing where required
*
Transport pupils safely when needed and support off-site learning opportunities
*
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with staff and families
Requirements:
*
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
*
A patient, flexible, and resilient approach
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
*
Relevant SEN qualification or willingness to work towards one
