The Role - What You will Be Doing
In your role as a Careers Adviser, you will provide impartial, high-quality information, advice, and guidance to adults exploring their next steps in work or education. You will:

Build relationships with Jobcentres, community organisations, and referral partners.

Promote a variety of funded training programmes, including vocational, digital and functional skills courses.

Check learner eligibility and maintain compliance with funding criteria.
*
Deliver tailored one-to-one careers advice to match individuals with the right learning or employment pathway.
*
Offer ongoing support before and after enrolment to ensure learners remain engaged and successful.
*
Collaborate with delivery and employer engagement teams to ensure a smooth learner journey.
Who We are Looking For
Experience in careers advice, employability, IAG, or community engagement.
*
A strong understanding of the challenges faced by unemployed or economically inactive adults.
*
Excellent communication, active listening, and organisational skills.
*
A genuine passion for widening participation and supporting lifelong learning.
*
(Desirable) Knowledge of eligibility and compliance processes in funded education.
