Static Maintenance Electrician - Abingdon
Are you a skilled and experienced Electrician looking for a stable and rewarding role with a competitive salary and excellent benefits?
We are seeking a highly competent and reliable Static Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Abingdon. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our buildings.
What You'll Do:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment, including: Lighting, power, and control systems Motors, generators, and transformers Fire alarm systems and other safety equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems
Carry out repairs and installations of electrical components and systems
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Work independently and as part of a team
What You'll Need:
A proven track record as a maintenance electrician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge
Experience with PLC systems and control systems (desirable)
Enhanced DBS check required
