Primary Teacher

Pay Rate: £140 - £190 per day (depending on experience)

Aspire People are currently recruiting a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to work in a range of supportive and welcoming primary schools across Derby. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking for flexible or long-term opportunities.

The Role:

Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the primary curriculum

Planning, preparing, and assessing pupils' work

Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals where required

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Has experience teaching within a primary school setting (ECTs encouraged to apply)

Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills

Is adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic about teaching

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
