Sherborne - Full-time, office-based: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:15pm (1-hour lunch)

Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a practice background, looking for something a little different?
Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Assistant to join their close-knit team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting diverse business interests.

What You'll Be Doing:You'll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across a variety of entities, including those in the financial consultancy and property sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

Full bookkeeping through to management accounts and financial statements
Preparing VAT returns and managing fixed asset registers
Weekly payment runs and bank reconciliations
Supporting internal and external audits
Producing insightful reports and forecasts
Getting involved in ad hoc projects and providing cover for colleagues when neededWhat We're Looking For:

AAT Level 4 qualified with relevant practice experience
Strong understanding of VAT and accounting software
A proactive, organised individual who thrives in a busy environment
A team player with integrity, discretion, and excellent communication skillsWhat's On Offer:

Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience
