We’re recruiting for a skilled and proactive Commercial Site Supervisor to oversee the delivery of mechanical and commercial projects across multiple sites. You’ll be responsible for supervising site teams, ensuring projects run smoothly, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and communication.
This role is suited to someone with hands-on supervisory experience in the mechanical or construction sector, looking to grow within a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight

Manage and ensure the completion of commercial projects to a high standard and within deadlines
*
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and diaries
*
Attend bi-weekly progress meetings with senior leadership to report on developments, raise issues, and review team performance
*
Work closely with the office team regarding materials, logistics, and staffing needs
*
Collaborate with senior management on project planning, customer onboarding, and cost breakdowns
*
Take ownership of any site-related issues affecting the delivery or quality of work
Staff Supervision
*
Supervise and coordinate all employees and subcontractors on commercial jobs
*
Ensure compliance with project scope—no deviations or extra work without prior approval
*
Enforce all site Health & Safety regulations
*
Verify that all personnel are equipped with correct PPE
*
Lead and support your team on-site
*
Raise any personnel issues during scheduled team meetings
Material & Delivery Management
*
Inspect all incoming deliveries on-site
*
Photograph and report any damages prior to unloading
*
Log and escalate any shortages
*
Sign and securely store delivery notes
*
Ensure documentation is safely returned to the Head Office
Authority & Communication
You will be the lead supervisor on all commercial projects, with full authority to direct day-to-day operations on-site. Success in this role requires seamless coordination with both field teams and office-based staff, as well as consistent reporting to senior leadership.
Requirements

SSSTS or SMSTS certification
*
Valid First Aid certificate
*
CSCS card holder
*
Valid DBS check
*
Health & Safety training (desirable)
*
Prior experience in a supervisory role within mechanical or construction industries
