Role: Sheet Metal Fabricator

Location: Soham, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00am-16:30pm but can be flexible

Starting Salary from: £31,200 per annum

We are working in Partnership with our client and searching for a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator specifically working within the HVAC Industry who is looking for an exciting opportunity…. What your duties will be

* Manufacturing of a variety of Ductwork items

* Following Engineering drawings to precise measurement

* Operating different machinery including Brake press, Guillotine and plasma cutting machines

* Using Hand tools to assemble products.

* Quality checking of work and recording data where required.

* Operating Counterbalance Forklift truck.

* Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

* Working within a team to ensure lead times are met

* Following companies health and safety procedures

* Assisting in other areas of the business when required.

What we are looking for

* The willingness to grow within the business.

* Hard-working and good work ethic is essential.

* Ability to work well within a close-knit team.

* Ductwork Fabrication experience essential.

* Experience working within the HVAC Industry

* Experience operating Brake press machines.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

* Previous Welding experience desirable but not essential.

* Counterbalance forklift license desirable but not essential.
