We’re hiring a Lead Business Architect to join a central strategy function driving major change across a complex organisation. Working closely with the executive team and senior stakeholders, you’ll play a pivotal role in turning strategy into actionable programmes that span finance, sales, customer operations, and beyond.
 
What you’ll be doing:

Translating enterprise strategy into business-aligned roadmaps and initiatives.
Shaping and prioritising complex change across a large portfolio.
Designing and aligning target operating models (TOMs) with senior leaders.
Mapping business capability models and identifying opportunities for optimisation and transformation.
Partnering with IT architects and delivery leads to align enterprise-wide architecture.
Leading strategic workshops, influencing senior leaders, and facilitating business-wide design conversations. What sets this role apart:

Embedded within the Strategy team, you’ll operate close to the CEO and leadership group.
Work across multiple change domains, from digital transformation to operational restructure.
Collaborate with a team of experienced business architects, all influencing business-wide delivery. What we’re looking for:

Strong experience in business architecture, ideally within a large, matrixed environment.
Proven ability to shape strategic intent into prioritised deliverables and operating models.
Experience with capability mapping, organisational design, or complex change roadmaps.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, able to facilitate workshops and present confidently at exec level.
A naturally curious mindset with strong critical thinking, empathy, and the ability to manage ambiguity. Nice to have:

Knowledge of TOGAF or similar frameworks.
Understanding of technical architecture and how it aligns with business transformation.
Background in insurance, financial services, or other regulated environments. The role:

Hybrid working, 1-2 days per week in Stratford-upon-Avon
£80,000–£90,000 per annum (depending on experience)
