Our client, a well-established mainstream secondary school in Dudley, is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join their team through our education recruitment agency. The Role:

You will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English across KS3 and KS4

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

*

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
