Our client is looking to appoint a talented Structural Engineer to join their Wakefield office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and expanding consultancy delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in technically diverse schemes, guiding projects from early concept through to completion while ensuring innovative, practical and commercially sound engineering solutions.

The position will involve the preparation of structural design calculations, drawings and specifications, working closely within a collaborative team environment to deliver projects to the highest standards, and representing the business at client, design team and site meetings. This role offers genuine responsibility and the chance to influence both projects and the wider direction of the office.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience across a variety of sectors, with strong technical capability and the confidence to manage responsibilities commensurate with a senior or principal-level role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in structural design software such as Tedds, Tekla and MasterSeries. Experience with Revit and AutoCAD would be advantageous but is not essential.
