Sales Account Manager – Food Ingredients
Location: Central Scotland (Home-Based / Field-Based)

Are you passionate about food and would enjoy selling high performance bakery ingredients to artisan and craft bakeries? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, business that combines the culture of a close-knit team with the benefits of working for a multinational group.

This is a home-based, autonomous role where you'll manage your own diary and spend 3–4 days per week on the road visiting loyal customers and developing new business opportunities across a well-established territory. You'll spend 1-2 days working from home on your administration, scheduling and follow ups and occasionally you'll need to come into the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying and winning new business

*

Build trusted relationships with independent bakeries across Scotland

*

Create and deliver account development plans to grow sales and margin

*

Work closely with internal teams including telesales, technical, credit control, and logistics

*

Maintain accurate records, produce monthly reports, and support business forecasting

What We're Looking For:

*

At least 2 years’ sales experience, ideally within the food or ingredients sector

*

Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and influencing skills

*

Commercially aware, numerate and organised, with good planning ability

*

Self-motivated and capable of managing a remote, field-based territory

*

Must be based in Scotland, preferably within the central belt
