We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Transport Planner to join our busy logistics team. If you thrive under pressure, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a fast-paced operation – we’d love to hear from you.
Transport Planner Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and optimise daily delivery routes using specialist software
* Oversee the night truckers to ensure any operational issues are managed being proactive not reactive
* Respond quickly to operational challenges and changes
* Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams
* Ensure legal compliance and support driver performance
* Work collaboratively to achieve service and cost targets
Transport Planner - What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a transport planning or logistics environment
* Paragon routing software experience
* An HGV licence is advantageous
* Strong UK geographical knowledge and a hands-on approach
* Must be flexible – shift patterns may vary depending on business needs
* Calm, solution-focused mindset with great attention to detail
