A progressive and creative independent school just south of Gloucester is seeking an Art Teacher to teach across KS3 to KS5 starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent post within a successful Art & Design department known for its experimental curriculum and student-led projects.
The successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of artistic disciplines, including fine art, photography, and mixed media, and will support students in portfolio development for GCSE, A-Level, and foundation applications.
Duties Will Include:

Teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-Level Art with a contemporary and inclusive approach

Preparing students for exhibitions and art competitions
*
Collaborating on the annual whole-school Arts Festival and cross-disciplinary events
*
Supporting students applying to art colleges and creative courses
Ideal Candidate:
*
Art/Fine Art degree with QTS
*
An imaginative, student-centred approach to teaching
*
Experience with digital tools or photography is desirable
*
Interest in the role of visual art in wider education and society
