PACKING OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with a highly prestigious food manufacturer in Hull (HU3) we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Packing Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers career progression, training opportunities and great pay (£12.21/hr).

Monday to Friday

Rotating shifts 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

Start date / Duration

Packing Operative positions will commence with immediate effect. This is ongoing, long-term work and will lead to a permanent position.

Job description

Working as a Packing Operative you will be responsible for the production, processing and packing of frozen fish products. Please note this factory is not cold and does not smell like typical fish factories as you will not be working with wet fish. Your day to day duties will include;

· Processing battered and breaded fish products

· Packing and loading produce into various types of packaging

· Quality checking products

· General production line work

· Hygiene and general housekeeping

Overtime - £18.32 after standard 8 hour day or £24.42 for weekends.
Full time, stable work - Guaranteed full time hours.

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Packing Operative you must;

· Have previous production or packing experience

· Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude

· Be able to work full time hours - 40 hours per week Mon-Fri

· Be a committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.

· Be reliable with good timekeeping.
