Position: Fire Sprinkler Installer
Specialism: CPVC Plastic Pipework
Employment Type: Full-Time / temporary - 1 month

Key Responsibilities

Install CPVC fire sprinkler pipework to approved drawings and specifications.

Carry out residential, commercial, and retrofit sprinkler installations.

Measure, cut, and assemble CPVC pipe and fittings using approved tools and solvent cement.

Install heads, drops, brackets, valves, alarms, and associated fittings.

Pressure-test completed pipework and record test results.

Work alongside site managers, fire engineers, and contractors to meet project deadlines.

Ensure installations comply with BS 9251 / NFPA standards (or relevant local standards).

Maintain accurate job notes, material records, and test documentation.

Work safely onsite, following all fire protection and CPVC handling guidelines.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Requirements

Proven experience installing CPVC fire sprinkler systems - essential.

Strong understanding of fire sprinkler standards and CPVC installation methods.

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

CSCS card required (or willingness to obtain).

Additional fire-protection qualifications (BS 9251, LPCB, etc.) desirable.

Full driving licence preferred.

Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or within a team.
