The School and Role

This private nursery setting in Gateshead (NE40 area) is currently seeking a Nursery Assistant to work on a part-time basis from December 2025. The Nursery Assistant appointed for the role will be working as part of a skilled team in the Nursery, providing general support and monitoring key children. Experience of working in a nursery setting is desired, and the role will be for 3 days per week. This is a setting where practitioners are committed to giving each child the best start to their education. The setting also has a good outdoor provision.

Requirements

The desired Nursery Nurse will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
