About the Role:
As an SEN Supply Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of educational settings, supporting pupils with a variety of needs including:
Autism (ASC)
ADHD
SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
Communication and Sensory Needs
Whether you're an experienced SEN teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to step into SEN, we’ll support you every step of the way!
Your responsibilities as a Supply SEN Teacher:
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
Support students’ emotional, social, and educational development in a nurturing and inclusive environment
Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to implement EHCPs and maintain consistent classroom behaviour strategies
What we are looking for:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or be working towards it (or equivalent teaching qualification)
Experience working with SEN pupils (in education or care)
Strong behaviour management and nurturing approach
Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
