Head of Sales - Plastics

Location: Remote,

Salary: Circa £60,000 + Performance Bonus + Company Car

Join a dynamic company specializing in innovative solutions for the plastic extrusion manufacturing industry. With a strong presence in the UK and ambitious plans for growth, we are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to drive our UK sales strategy and build our client base from the ground up.

Responsibilities - Head of Sales

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in the UK plastics sector.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying, sourcing, and engaging new clients from scratch.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring high conversion rates.
Build and nurture relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners in the plastic extrusion sector.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
Provide regular performance reports and sales forecasts to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Experience – Head of Sales

5 years of B2B sales experience ideally within the plastics manufacturing industry.
Proven ability to build sales lists and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal completion.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in the UK market.
Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders and clients.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate industry insights into actionable sales plans.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable working remotely.
Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Established network of contacts within the UK plastic extrusion manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in plastic extrusion manufacturing.
