Are you currently studying Education Studies, working towards a PGCE, or considering a career in teaching? Do you have a passion for working with children and want to gain valuable classroom experience while earning money?

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Primary Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming Primary Schools in Smeeton Westerby and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for university students and aspiring teachers to build their confidence in the classroom and develop the skills needed for a future in education.

Role responsibilities:

Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive learning environment
Supporting pupils with their learning and behaviour management
Following lesson plans set by teachers and ensuring tasks are completed
Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
We’re looking for candidates who:

Are currently studying Education Studies or considering/working towards a PGCE
Have a genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed
Are reliable, adaptable, and confident with strong communication skills
Want to gain hands-on classroom experience alongside their studies
