Brakepress Operator required to join a well-established Engineering company that specialises in Aerospace fine limit sheet metal work, based in the Reading area.

Brakepress Operator Job Overview

Set up and operate CNC and manual brake presses to bend, form, and shape metal components for aerospace assemblies.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machine setup, tooling, and sequence of operations.
Select proper tooling and ensure accurate machine calibration for each job.
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other precision instruments to verify conformance to specifications and tolerances.

Brakepress Operator Job Requirements

Previous experience within a similar role
Fine Limit sheet metal work experience would be preferred
Experience working within the Aerospace sector is advantageous
Must live within a commutable distance to Reading
Full UK Driving license

Brakepress Operator Salary & Benefits

Full-Time Permanent
Monday - Thursday 37 hours (4 day working week)
Overtime
33 days holiday (including BH)
Salary Up to £32,000
