STEM Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be working with our client based near Glasgow to recruit Engineering Interns to join their team on a 12 week summer internship. You will be working for a company working with cutting edge technology in the semiconductor industry. Their innovating solutions drive development of cutting edge applications such as artificial intelligence, data centres and more. Please note you must be available for full time work from Monday 3rd June 2024.

Job Role:

Engineering Internship opportunity lasting 12 weeks with possibility of extension or a permanent job offer at the end of the contract. As a Engineering Intern you will gain hands-on experience in professional laboratory settings, contribute to meaningful projects, interpret and communicate technical data and gain experience across vital areas of a highly successful business.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with experienced engineers on research, development, and testing projects.

Assist in the design, fabrication, and evaluation of semiconductor devices.

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Participate in integration efforts to optimize product performance and reliability.

Document and present findings to support ongoing projects and knowledge sharing.

Essential Qualities:

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics or Electronics

Solid academic background with coursework in relevant areas – e.g. Electronics, Photonics etc.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Must be able to start full time from Monday 3rd June 2024.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Python, LabVIEW, MatLAB

Job Details:

£11.44 per hour

Monday to Friday

9am – 5pm (Onsite)
