We are recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment who is seeking skilled Resident Engineers to join their team.

As a Resident Engineer, you’ll work on-site at one of our customer locations, becoming an integral part of their team while handling a wide variety of technical tasks. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to develop your skills in the dynamic world of material handling.

Role & Responsibilities:

*

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring customer equipment operates efficiently

*

Conduct preventative maintenance checks

*

Provide on-site technical support and build strong customer relationships

*

Maintain high standards for safety, performance, and customer satisfaction

Ideal Candidate:

*

Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or similar role

*

Experience with plant equipment, powered access, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is desirable

*

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential

*

Comfortable using IT equipment for record-keeping and ordering

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
