Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Salary: Up to £28,000 (DOE)

We have an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a leading law firm in Leeds. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to gain exposure to a broad range of contentious commercial matters, with clear opportunities for progression and development within a supportive and dynamic team.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced solicitors across a wide range of commercial disputes, assisting on cases from initial instruction through to resolution. The caseload will be varied, offering the chance to get involved in complex, high-quality work for a diverse client base including SMEs, corporates, and professional clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting solicitors on a range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder issues, debt recovery, and professional negligence claims.
Preparing court documents, witness statements, and trial bundles.
Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries.
Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties to progress cases efficiently.
Managing your own smaller caseload with supervision.
Maintaining accurate file management and ensuring key deadlines are met.
About You
You will be an organised and proactive individual with a genuine interest in commercial dispute resolution. This role will suit someone with prior paralegal experience in litigation who is keen to take on greater responsibility and grow within a firm that values initiative and professional development.
You will have:
Previous experience as a paralegal, ideally within commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
Strong drafting and legal research skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach.
