Job Opportunity: 1:1 Tutor - Barnoldswick Area

We are looking for a committed and patient 1:1 Tutor to support a Year 11 learner with SEND needs in the Barnoldswick area.

? Location: Barnoldswick Library
⏰ Hours: 2-6 hours per week (flexible)
? Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour
? Start: As soon as available

About the Role

You will work on a one-to-one basis with a Year 11 learner who requires additional support with their studies. Sessions will take place in the local library, offering a quiet and structured learning environment. Your role will be to help build confidence, reinforce understanding, and support progress towards GCSE outcomes.

Strong communication and planning skills
Ability to engage and motivate young people
Reliable and punctual

Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
Experience in tutoring or teaching KS4
Ability to commit to weekly sessions
