Core Responsibilities:
Effectively project manages all engineering aspects of the project lifecycle - design, process, quality, resources, production, to deliver multiple technical projects, adhering to New Product Implementation process, and customer requirements. Therefore, planning, work-package management, creation and ownership of program plans.
Collaborate with assigned reports to enable them to develop, monitor and maintain progress and performance against project plan –standards, design, and work spec, project schedules, budgets and forecasts. Proactively take and communicate appropriate actions/decisions when challenges, risk or concerns to get back to goal completion.
Key customer contact on assigned projects with internal and external customers and project participants – successfully managing expectations; liaising on and off site as required to meet project requirements.

Key focus:

Is to manage engineering projects through the complete programme cycle to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. You are a joint lead with the other Engineering Project Manager, with around 5-6 direct reports. You will also be a member of the site leadership team. Projects will be across all of our customers' sectors, so defence, space, research and development on new products.

Essential:

* Knowledge And Experience:
Multi-disciplinary experience in an engineering role.

* Implementation and management of multiple, concurrent projects throughout the project lifecycle

* Managing assigned reports to achieve required performance goals.

* Working to and delivering against quality and customer standards.

* Developing and maintaining customer relationships, managing expectations and resolving issues.

* Organising and contributing to technical reviews and discussions

Benefits:

* Salary up to £53k

* Bonus up to 10% of salary
