Urgent contract Enterprise Architect

Duration - 12 months (inside IR35)

Ocassional travel - based Hampshire

The Lead Enterprise Architect will oversee design governance across the organisation’s digital estate, contributing to digital strategy and ensuring alignment with corporate principles, policies, and customer requirements. The position involves providing technical assurance and architectural oversight across multiple digital programmes and services.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and evolve architectural principles, policies, and standards.

* Translate business needs into robust technical designs.

* Provide strategic and technical guidance to ensure design compliance.

* Design systems involving medium to high levels of complexity and impact.

* Produce and review technical documentation and sub-strategies

Essential Experience

* Proven background as an Applications, Technical, Solution, or Enterprise Architect.

* Experience developing and enforcing architecture strategies, policies, and governance.

* Skilled in technical documentation and design assurance.

* Certifications:

* ISEB (mandatory)

* Plus at least one of: ITIL, IT4IT, or COBIT

* Desirable Experience

* Previous work in public sector environments.

* Experience collaborating with strategic outsourcing partners.

* Familiarity with secure computing standards and best practices (e.g. JSP440, SPF, GPG)
