Job Title: Management Accountant

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 FTE

Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire - Hybrid working available

Hours: Between 7.45am & 5pm – flexible start and finish times

Liberty Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a fantastic accountancy practice who are looking for a Management Accountant to cover a 12-month maternity leave. This role is very flexible and can accommodate someone looking for a 30-hour week up to full-time hours. 

Paying up to £50,000 this is a very varied role so we are looking for someone that is happy getting stuck into the nitty gritty as well as the reporting needed. Once training is complete this role can be hybrid working 2 days a week from home. 

Responsibilities include: 

Reconciliation of all bank accounts on Xero

Acting as the main point of contact for the bank 

Accurate posting and allocating of sales ledger receipts

Producing monthly YTD Receipts report for Directors 

Producing month end statements 

Credit card reconciliations

Raising payments on the purchase ledger 

Due to this being a maternity cover, we are ideally looking for someone that could start asap. There would be a 1 stage interview process. 

To be successful in this role you will need: 

Excellent excel skills and be confident working with a variety of reports 

To be a quick learner and be happy learning new systems 

Payroll experience would be advantageous but not essential 

Strong communications skills both written and verbal
