Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Contact & Assessment Team for Hammersmith & Fulham Council

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing complex and high-risk cases within the Contact & Assessment Team.
* Undertaking assessments of children in need, child protection, and Section 47 enquiries.
* Responding to new referrals and ensuring timely decisions on thresholds for intervention.
* Completing high-quality assessments, care plans, and reports in line with statutory timescales.
* Engaging with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure effective multi-agency working.
* Attending strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and court proceedings as required.
* Providing guidance and support to less experienced social workers within the team.
* Ensuring all casework complies with legislation, statutory guidance, and local policies.

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working arrangement

Pay Rate:
* £39.04 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Social Work England Registration
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services
* Experience in Duty & Assessment or Frontline Teams
* Sound knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
