EDM/Wire Eroder

We are working with a north Herefordshire client, seeking an EDM/Wire Eroder to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. We’re seeking a reliable and experienced CNC Machinist to join our clients’ busy team. This hands-on role involves machine setup, programming, and precision cutting to produce bespoke components to exacting standards.

What you can expect:

* Pay rate: circa £20ph, depending on experience

* Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

* Overtime available during the week and on Saturdays, paid at 1.5X

* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

* Free parking

What you will be doing:

* Setting up machines and overseeing operations throughout the production process

* Programming, operating, and configuring machinery for optimal performance

* Performing precision cutting to manufacture custom, high-spec components

* Measuring and inspecting finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality

* Conducting routine maintenance on machinery, including oiling, greasing, and general upkeep

What we are looking for:

* Previous programming, operating, and setting experience

* Prior experience within a similar role, preferably using Sodick machine or similar
