About the Role

We’re recruiting for two experienced Technicians to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Swindon. The workshop specialises in preparing, maintaining, and repairing vans and light commercial vehicles. You’ll be diagnosing faults, servicing, and ensuring fleet readiness to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic faults on LCVs / commercial vans

*

Routine servicing, maintenance and repair work

*

MOT preparation work and safety inspections

*

Ensure work meets workshop quality, safety, and manufacturer best practices

*

Use diagnostic tools and workshop software to record findings and work carried out

*

Liaise with parts team; ensure parts availability and workshop efficiency

What We’re Looking For

*

NVQ / IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

*

Proven experience working on light commercial / van vehicles

*

Strong diagnostic & fault-finding skills

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Good communication skills; ability to work as part of a team and independently

Salary & Benefits

*

Basic salary between £35,000 – £55,000 depending on experience & skills
