We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in ST4. Our client is a leading manufacturer who are looking to expand their current team. As a Mechanical Fitter , you will play a crucial role in setting up machines and fixing breakdowns in a timely manner.
Job Title: Mechanical Fitter / Machine Setter
Location: ST4
Salary: £13.72/h per hour (increasing to £14.33/h once training completed)
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 07:00am to 15:45pm
* Friday: 07:00 to 12:45
Key Responsibilities:
* 75% of the role will involve setting up extruders and cutting machines.
* 25% will involve maintenance and fixing machines when they breakdown.
* Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Working collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Mechanical role would be preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Any welding, lathe or milling experience would be helpful.
