Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator with a background in cladding, curtain walling, re-cladding, and roofing systems to support our pre-construction team. This is a key role in helping the business secure and deliver profitable projects through accurate and timely cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for façade packages including cladding, curtain walling, re-cladding, and roofing.

Review project drawings, specifications, and scope documentation to assess materials, labour, and time requirements.
*
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and assess technical compliance.
*
Evaluate and interpret technical designs to support value engineering and cost-effective solutions.
*
Work closely with commercial, design, and project management teams throughout the tender process.
*
Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required.
*
Monitor and track bid progress, ensuring submissions are completed to deadlines.
*
Maintain and update estimating tools, databases, and cost libraries.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Estimator within the building envelope industry, with a strong understanding of cladding, curtain walling, roofing, and re-cladding.
*
Familiarity with façade systems, building regulations, and fire safety compliance.
*
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
*
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
*
Full UK driving licence preferred due to occasional site visits.
