Position: Mechanical Shift Engineer
Location: East London
Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Hours: 4 on 4 off shift rota (Days & Nights)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a large commercial facility in East London. What you'll do:

Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site to ensure all building services operate reliably.
Fault find and repair plumbing and mechanical systems including pumps, valves, FCUs, AHUs, and associated plant.
Monitor and maintain plant room equipment, responding to breakdowns and alarms as required.
Complete routine checks, PPMs, and inspections to maintain compliance and performance.
Support minor mechanical repairs and assist with small installation works when required.
Accurately record works completed and report any defects or follow-on actions. What you'll bring:

C&G or NVQ qualification in a Mechanical or Plumbing discipline.
Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.
Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and plumbing systems.
A proactive, safety-focused approach with good communication skills.
Willingness to develop further with additional trade qualifications. Why Apply?
