Temporary Finance Management Accountant – IMR | Peterborough/Hybrid

? Contract: Until December 2025 (potential to extend)
? Rate: £28.60 (37 hours per week)
? Location: Peterborough + Hybrid working

We’re seeking a qualified Management Accountant to support the IMR Business Unit with management reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This is a key finance role within a complex and fast-paced environment, providing accurate financial insight to senior stakeholders and ensuring AWS internal reporting requirements are met.

Key Duties:

* Deliver management reporting for the IMR Business Unit (Opex, Capex & IFRS).

* Lead month-end activities, including accruals, forecasts, and reconciliations.

* Ensure robust budget phasing and accurate consolidation of Totex budgets.

* Partner with the IMR Financial Reporting Manager & Programme Manager to provide clear, timely financial information.

* Ensure compliance with AWS reporting standards, internal controls, and governance requirements.

* Provide cover for Senior Management Accountant – IMR and Finance Manager, including reporting of partner costs.

* Support financial planning, forecasting and business modelling across IMR contracts.

* Build strong stakeholder relationships across Finance, Commercial, Programme and external partners.

Requirements:

* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

* Strong management accounting and reporting experience.

* Proven ability to manage both Opex and Capex budgets.

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

* Strong analytical ability and financial insight.

* Organised, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
