Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess inspiring Year 3 lessons, ensuring the curriculum is adapted to meet the needs of all learners.

Regularly assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback that helps shape their learning journey and informs future planning.

Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages pupils to engage, collaborate, and develop independent learning skills.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression within the curriculum and contribute to the school’s ethos of excellence and inclusivity.

Develop strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on pupil progress and involving them in the school community.

Participate in school life beyond the classroom, including extracurricular activities, school events, and ongoing professional development.
Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

A solid understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, with experience in delivering a variety of lesson styles that engage and challenge pupils.

Strong skills in assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
*
Excellent classroom management techniques, ensuring a productive and positive learning environment.
*
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

A commitment to professional development and a passion for fostering a love of learning in children.
