We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Project Team. In this key role, you will play a vital part in creating custom electrical designs that drive a diverse range of exciting projects.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as an Electrical Design Engineer?

Design and develop sophisticated electrical schematics.
Analyse and optimise electrical systems to maximise performance and efficiency.
Define detailed requirements for electrical systems to underpin superior design solutions.
Accurately capture and document electrical schematics and designs.
Select appropriate cables and protective devices to ensure safety and reliability.
Provide expert guidance and review on electrical component selection, supporting project success.
Collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams to deliver exceptional results.
Undertake a diverse range of engineering tasks to support various projects and programmes, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Actively participate in internal and external meetings, offering valuable insights to influence business growth.
Maintain comprehensive and organised documentation in line with local operating procedures.What are we looking for in our next Electrical Design Engineer?

Hold a minimum of an HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, reflecting a solid educational foundation.
Demonstrate a collaborative team-player mindset, thriving in supportive work environments.
Proven experience in specifying electrical components, showcasing strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Sound understanding of electrical standards, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance.
Proficient in MS Office applications, enabling effective task management and communication.
Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach to engineering, ready to tackle a variety of electrical design challenges.
Experienced in electrical schematic capture and design review, with a thorough grasp of the design process.
Knowledgeable in electronics, supporting innovation and exploration of new solutions.
Skilled in designing electrical systems, demonstrating expertise in managing complex, high-stakes projects.
