Job Title: EDM Engineer - Spark & Wire Erosion
? Location: Glasgow | ? Full-time, 37 hours/week | Shift work, Monday to Friday
Salary: Circa £45k. Depending on experience
Reporting to: Manufacturing Lead

Are you a time-served EDM Engineer with a passion for precision and quality? Our client is seeking a skilled Spark & Wire Erosion Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. You'll play a key role in producing high-precision components using advanced EDM techniques, working in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.

? What You'll Do

Set up and operate Spark and Wire Erosion machines to perform EDM precision machining
Load raw materials and unload finished parts
Interpret and work from technical drawings to meet customer tolerances
Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance
Record production data and report any equipment issues
Conduct routine machine inspections for mechanical or safety concerns
Maintain well-stocked tooling and material to minimise downtime
Follow safety guidelines and manufacturing standards at all times

Time-served EDM Engineer background
Hands-on experience in Spark Erosion and Wire Erosion
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Track record of delivering precision components to high quality standards
