Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs to manufacturer standards
Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and complete repairs
Work efficiently to meet timeframes without compromising quality
Maintain accurate service records and follow warranty procedures
Liaise with the parts team to ensure timely supply of correct parts
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Essential

Experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter
Level 3 qualification in HGV maintenance and repair
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Desirable

HGV Class 1 licence
IRTEC certification
