We are currently recruiting for a Year 3 Teacher to work in a supportive primary school in the CF23 area of Cardiff. This role is to start as soon as vetting is complete and is ideal for a confident and engaging teacher with Key Stage 2 experience.
The Role ✏️
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons in line with the curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils with a range of learning abilities
Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy where required
Assess and track pupil progress
Differentiate work to support individual learning needs
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and school staff
Maintain strong classroom behaviour management
This role would suit a teacher who is organised, enthusiastic, and confident leading a class independently.
Requirements ✅
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can help)
EWC registration (or willingness to apply – we can support you)
Experience teaching in a primary school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
