A well-renowned subcontract machine shop producing high precision components for a wide range of industries is seeking to appoint and apprentice-trained CNC Programmer to their staff. The work is varied and overtime tends to be regular offering the opportunity to substantially increase earnings. The vacancy is night Monday - Thursday.

CNC Programming - Role and Responsibilities - Miller / Turner / Programming / Setting / Operating

Interpret customer drawings
Studying work orders
Program, set and operate a selection of Fanuc controlled CNC milling machines
Select tooling
Produce component and submit for first-off inspection
Maintain a clean and safe working area

CNC Programmer - Skills and Abilities - Miller / Turner / Programming / Setting / Operating

Apprentice-trained or time-served CNC Machinist, or Apprentice who has just finished their training and is looking for their first move
Experience of online programming using Fanuc controls
Ability to learn new machines
Wants to progress
