Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking a part-time Office Manager to join a well-established, family-run construction company based in Sheffield, who are looking for a reliable and organised individual to support the smooth running of its busy office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily office administration
* Schedule and support active projects
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Manage invoicing, document control, and file systems
* Assist with banking and accounts
* Book and off-hire plant, equipment, and accommodation
* Manage company fleet
* Support with SSIP compliance
* Organise training reviews and bookings
Requirements:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong general IT literacy as implementation of new systems is a key part of the role
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Prior experience in a construction/trade office desirable
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Proficiency in Sage is preferred, but not essential
The role offers free on-site parking, a supportive and welcoming work environment, and a flexible schedule that promotes a healthy work/life balance. You’ll be expected to work 20 hours per week, spread over five days (approximately four hours per day, Monday to Friday), with some flexibility available to suit your needs.
