Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading global manufacturing business, based in Rotherham. Due to a continually healthy order book they are looking for talented Finishing Operatives to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
*
Remove defects from castings
*
Utilise a range of hand tools, (electric, pneumatic, hydraulic)
*
Work to tight tolerances and follow the required quality procedure at all times.
*
Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.
Required Skills & Experience
*
Applicants must have previous experience in a Production / Manufacturing environment.
*
Manually dexterous
*
Strong attention to detail
*
Flexible team worker who can work safely on own initiative
*
Good written and verbal communication skills
Working Hours
*
Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Friday - 5:00 am to 1:00 pm
*
Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday - 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
*
25% shift allowance on the afternoon shift
*
Paid Overtime (Mon - Fri, Time and a Third), (Saturday, Time and a Half) and (Sunday, Double Time)
Salary & Benefits
*
£25,600 inclusive of shift allowance
*
22 day holiday, plus bank holidays, plus an additional day for each complete year of service, up to a maximum of five additional days
