Role Overview - Design and Technology Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum that develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Inspire students to explore creative problem-solving, design thinking, and technical competence.

Encourage innovation through projects that reflect real-world applications.

Maintain a safe and stimulating workshop environment.

Participate actively in departmental and whole-school initiatives.

Working hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (full-time)

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Relevant degree or qualification in Design and Technology or related field

Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching practical and creative skills

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse abilities
