Business Development Manager

My client is a global leader in IT workplace solutions—a multi-billion-dollar technology business delivering innovative services to clients across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their London sales team and seeking a Business Development Manager to drive both new business acquisition and account development.
The role
Hunting new business within SMBs nationally
Proactively drive sales growth by researching, targeting, and connecting with prospective customers
Build proposals, quotes, and ROI-based business cases
Deliver presentations that communicate value, differentiation, and tailored solutions
Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, pre-sales, and operations
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM data to support forecasting and activity tracking
The candidate
Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in IT solutions/ workplace tech or a similar service-based industry
A strong understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to close
Experience handling both new business generation and account development
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Commercial awareness with the ability to align IT solutions to business challenges
Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident managing multiple opportunities simultaneously

Basic salary: up to £50,000
£5,000 annual car allowance
