We're expanding our engineering capability and are looking for three Requirements Engineers to join a collaborative, technically challenging project team. You'll be key to ensuring stakeholder needs are effectively captured, analysed, and translated into deliverable technical requirements - shaping the success of mission-critical systems.
About the Role
You'll provide Requirements Engineering expertise to a major One Team programme, supporting the Project Manager and Engineering Task Manager to apply industry-leading Systems Engineering methods and tools.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Eliciting, analysing and managing stakeholder requirements
Deriving and verifying system-level requirements using DOORS
Supporting architecture development, modelling, and system simulations
Writing and managing Use Cases, Test Plans and Verification activities
Mentoring team members and contributing to project reviews and governance
What We're Looking For
Proven Requirements Capture experience in nuclear projects (essential)
Minimum SC Clearance, must be eligible for DV
Hands-on DOORS practitioner with 5+ years in government/commercial environments
Confident writing Use Cases and conducting modelling & simulation
Backgrounds in Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering, Design or Project Engineering welcome - if you've done requirements capture full-time and enjoy it
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with INCOSE SE best practices
Use of abstract modelling techniques (Context Diagrams, etc.)
Experience in interface design/specification and lifecycle engineering
IOSH Managing Safely or similar (training can be provided)
