We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in the field, with practical experience and a strong academic background. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, developing course materials, and guiding students to achieve their academic and career goals.

Some of the Key Responsibilities:

* Teaching Excellence: Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons on a range of further education courses within the travel and tourism sector.

* Subject Development: Spearhead the development of specific subject areas, ensuring content is current and industry-relevant.

* Programme Leadership: Lead and manage a programme of study, coordinating course teams, and overseeing the effective delivery of the curriculum.

* Lesson Preparation and Marking: Prepare high-quality lesson plans and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

* Student Support: Assess and support students, tailoring your approach to meet their individual learning needs.

The role will be fixed term till July 2025, part time (22.5 hours per week - actual salary, £19,223 - £25,060 per annum).

Lets Teach Programme
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.

Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal
