Our client is searching for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead their engineering function, drive innovation, and elevate design excellence. This senior management position offers a unique opportunity to spearhead a multi-disciplinary Design Team and cultivate an environment of continuous improvement and development within the engineering sphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Innovation: Oversee the Design Team across mechanical, electrical, systems, and process disciplines. Drive excellence by implementing best practices such as LEAN, APQP, and FEA, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Team Development: Foster a culture of accountability and technical rigour, developing team members to achieve peak performance. Encourage a progressive and responsive department environment.

Process Improvement: Implement improvements in engineering tools and processes, enhance workflows with digital tools, and support cross-functional optimisation.

Candidate Profile:

Extensive experience managing engineering teams in complex machinery or capital equipment environments.

Proven leadership and development skills, especially with technically focused teams.

Expertise in enhancing engineering processes and commercial acumen to collaborate effectively across departments.

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering discipline.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with pressure systems, Lean principles, and ERP integration in engineering workflows.

Familiarity with risk-based design methods and regulated industry standards.
