Position: Service Manager
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus (OTE up to £65,000)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 18:00 (flexible) + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 08:30 - 12:30
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking an ambitious and experienced individual to take on the role of Service Manager with a well-respected, family-run automotive business in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and team efficiency

Oversee daily operations of the workshop, managing workflows and ensuring quality standards

Support, train and motivate a team of technicians and service staff

Maintain strong communication with customers, providing updates and resolving any service-related queries

Ensure compliance with all health, safety and manufacturer standards

Monitor departmental performance, managing targets and driving improvement

What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller or existing Service Manager

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team

Excellent customer service and communication abilities

A solid understanding of automotive service operations and workshop management

A full UK driving licence
